My lifelong calling to help others led me to become a Registered Nurse in 2015. Since then, I have spent years working as a charge nurse across medical and surgical units of all ages. My true passion has always been mental health, trauma-informed care, and understanding the connection between mind and body. After gaining the experience to feel confident in my understanding of physical health, I decided to focus on becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. To complete this journey while preserving time with my family, I have decided to leave bedside nursing for something more meaningful at this stage of my career.

Throughout my time in healthcare, I became increasingly aware of the gaps within the system. I saw patients leave appointments with more questions than answers, complex medical histories reduced to rushed conversations, and mental health overlooked despite being deeply connected to overall wellness. I also witnessed how often legitimate concerns—particularly among those with chronic illness or neurodivergence—were dismissed or misunderstood.

My goal is to help fill those gaps by offering compassionate, individualized support for people navigating complex health challenges or life in a neurotypically-centered world. I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered with education, guidance, and practical tools tailored to their unique needs.

This work is deeply personal to me. As someone living with chronic complex illness and in a beautifully chaotic neurodivergent household, I understand many of these challenges intimately. Those experiences have shaped both the empathy and perspective I bring to my work.

Outside of healthcare, I’m an avid reader, writer, and unapologetic nerd who loves Dungeons & Dragons, the woods, and animals. I’m also a lifelong learner. I truly enjoy finding answers to the questions I don’t know yet, and understanding the “why” behind them.
